I had 5 tickets to attend the show on 12/21/2022.
There was a major snow storm looming in Chicago and in Indianapolis, IN., where the 5 tickets holders live. 2 adults and 3 teenage daughters. If we had gotten to Chicago from Indianapolis, we would not have made it home safely. Hilton Hotels were gracious enough to help us with canceling our reservations. But,sadly, I cannot say the same for Ticketmaster. I called the theater numerous times. The phone was out of service. I was able to reach Ticketmaster via text and explained our unfortunate circumstances. I received a text back with, “sorry, it’s less than. 24 notice. Call the theater.” I asked for the phone number to the theater as the one I had was out of service. The text I received back from Ticketmaster was the number to a theater in LasVegas. I texted back that I was going to the Briar Theater in Chicago. I did not receive any response back. I have had many a summer concert cancelled by Ticketmaster due to bad weather. Why can’t the same due diligence be respected for ticket holders? I attend many concerts and shows via Ticketmaster and will continue to do do, I have lost respect for Ticketmaster. I wasn’t asking for money back. I just wanted credit for the money I paid. I am not a wealthy person. My friend and I just wanted to give our daughters a nice show in Chicago. It was a Christmas gift surprise. I do not understand why Ticketmaster was not more responsive and helpful. Nor do I understand why the Venue’s phones were out of service or their number had changed. I even called the local information number and a Hotel close by to verify the number I had was correct. I am extremely disappointed in the lack of prompt customer service by Ticketmaster and the lack of follow through with helping me to contact the vendor. $352.00 is nothing to Ticketmaster, but it’s a lot for a public school teacher. You disappoint me Ticketmaster.

Disappointed
First time I went to BMG about 10 years ago when they came to our city and I LOVED them. Now I decided to take my 7 years old son and was sure it would be awesome.Instead, the theater is too small ,they hardly had room to move on the stage, the band was somewhere under the roof.Minimum light show (for about five minutes),not a lot of drum playing.In general, I felt like I am at circus watching the clowns.In an hour my kid (!)started asking me when is the end. I hope they have better shows in other cities,and I’ll see their famous shows with good music again.But I’ll never come back to Chicago show and don’t recommend it to anyone.
